Example: Individual Executive Coaching
One senior individual was absolutely brilliant in the sciences. As a result of
this talent, he had been promoted to vice president over an entire research laboratory. However, he was failing
as an executive because he had never developed his own leadership skills - having been predominantly inclined to
the technical aspects of the job. Eventually the lab united against the vice president and a management crisis ensued.
The president of the firm asked John to coach this individual in people skills. It took several sessions
to allow him to see what his poor people skills were doing to his people's performance. Once awareness was
achieved, John proceeded with his leadership training.
Client Results
The vast majority of John's individual coaching cases are highly confidential.
However, his rates of success are consistently superior.
